theme-factory

Toolkit for styling artifacts with a theme. These artifacts can be slides, docs, reportings, HTML landing pages, etc. There are 10 pre-set themes with colors/fonts that you can apply to any artifact that has been creating, or can generate a new theme on-the-fly.

Control levels describe skill capabilities and suggested control measures; they do not represent quality or safety certifications, nor do they dictate usability. Usage decisions rest entirely with users and administrators. Different agent hosts apply varying constraints; do not assume hosts provide automatic protection. 1How It Works & Mechanism

The workflow follows a human-in-the-loop 'preview first, select, then apply' pattern: it first presents theme-showcase.pdf so the user can visually evaluate all 10 themes, only proceeding after explicit user selection.

skills/theme-factory/SKILL.md
1. **Show the theme showcase**: Display the `theme-showcase.pdf` file to allow users to see all available themes visually. Do not make any modifications to it; simply show the file for viewing.
Steps 2 and 3 are 'Ask which theme to apply to the deck' and 'Get explicit confirmation about the chosen theme'—intentionally requiring user confirmation prior to application to prevent the model from unilaterally altering styles.

Themes are defined purely as data in markdown files under the themes/ directory: one file per theme containing hex palettes, header/body font pairings, and context recommendations, without any code or scripts.

skills/theme-factory/SKILL.md
Each theme is defined in the `themes/` directory with complete specifications including:
Example (arctic-frost.md): '**Ice Blue**: `#d4e4f7` - Light backgrounds and highlights'… '**Headers**: DejaVu Sans Bold' / '**Best Used For**: Healthcare presentations…'. Application means the model manually applies these color codes and fonts to the target artifact (effective for format types like PPTX or HTML that support style specifications).

Fallback capability to generate themes on-the-fly: if none of the 10 presets fit, a new theme matching the desired aesthetic is generated from any user-provided description and presented for review before application.

skills/theme-factory/SKILL.md
To handle cases where none of the existing themes work for an artifact, create a custom theme.
Follow-up steps: 'Give the theme a similar name describing what the font/color combinations represent. Use any basic description provided to choose appropriate colors/fonts. After generating the theme, show it for review and verification.'

Application is handled through pure styling instructions: read the theme file → consistently apply colors and fonts throughout the deck → ensure contrast and readability → maintain visual identity.

skills/theme-factory/SKILL.md
1. Read the corresponding theme file from the `themes/` directory 2. Apply the specified colors and fonts consistently throughout the deck
The skill carries no executable code—it assumes the target artifact is generated by external workflows, operating solely at the 'color/typography specification' layer.

2Core Capabilities

0110 pre-set professional themes (hex palettes + font pairings + visual identity + context recommendations) across slides, docs, reportings, and HTML artifacts
02Visual selection via theme-showcase.pdf (preview results before modifying)
03Data-driven theme definitions: each theme includes a palette, font pairings, and best-use guidance
04On-the-fly custom theme generation from arbitrary descriptions, reviewed prior to application
05Disciplined styling: consistent application + contrast/readability checks + cross-page visual coherence

Evidence & Triggers (File Paths & Excerpts)
  • 本地文件: Operates on local project files or working directory artifacts
Audit Notes: Based on standard evaluation criteria (local read-only operations, no external network transmission): actions consist of reading bundled themes/ markdown files and showcase.pdf to present them to the user, then styling the output using color and font guidelines—strictly local reads, zero scripts, zero network requests, zero credentials, and zero direct file writes. Contains no destructive operations and is safe for compliant use; the only consideration is the model's aesthetic choices and prompt-level injection surface during custom theme generation.

5Second-Pass Verification

Color Palette(hex)/Typography(DejaVu Sans Bold + DejaVu Sans)/Best Used For 三节,与 SKILL.md 'complete specifications' 描述一致。
  • [ok] 零脚本零网络零凭证 — 目录无代码文件;token 扫描零命中。
  • [ok] 自定义主题能力 — 'Create your Own Theme' 节原文存在:'create a custom theme…After generating the theme, show it for review'——无夸大。
  • [ok] 应用方式边界 — 应用=模型手动套样式(无代码);对 'slides, docs, reportings, HTML landing pages' 中可编程指定样式的工件成立,二进制/图片类工件不适用——属能力边界而非夸大。
  • [ok] 元数据 — 本地 HEAD==pin 41bbe19;Apache-2.0 LICENSE.txt(Copyright 2026 Anthropic, PBC.)。

6Verdict & Scenarios

  • Ultra-lightweight with zero dependencies: themes are static markdown files usable by any host with zero toolchain overhead.
  • Visual selection workflow: showcase.pdf enables users to choose based on visual previews rather than abstract descriptions.
  • Orthogonal and decoupled from creation workflows: provides only color/typography guidelines, easily appended to any artifact generation pipeline.
  • Context-aware theme guidance ('Best Used For') minimizes aesthetic mismatches; custom themes require user review before application.
  • Best for: Ideal for scenarios requiring rapid application of a cohesive visual style to generated artifacts (PPTX, HTML, documents); workflows demanding visual preview confirmation before finalization; and skill developers seeking reference 'color/typography specification' templates to build out their own theme libraries.
Not for: Not suitable for automated batch styling pipelines requiring zero human intervention; binary or image-based artifacts that lack editable styling layers; or enterprise use cases requiring strict, auditable design token pipelines (which require code-based theme systems).
